 By: Peet | Hi Paul,
I don't think its a possibility. Jesus repeatedly said that entering the Kingdom of God is not an easy thing... He talks about the cost of following him. It seems to me like a balance between the free gift of salvation and following Jesus on a daily basis. The way I read the Bible it seems very important to keep following. Once you lose the way, I am weary to say, you probably lose your salvation. Even in Revelation, Jesus warns the churches to turn from certain ways (or lose their salvation). I think the idea came from the practice of isolating certain verses (pieces) of the Bible and focusing only on those. If you do that, it is certainly possible, but once you read everything, it seems impossible to be "once saved always saved".
Just my thoughts on the subject.
Regards,
Peet

thanks for your response. I completly agree with you. I went to a web site called got questions, and it was giving some reasons as to why and how you are always saved, but seemed vague as to the answers relaying to scriptures I provided. either way I rather look at it as yes you can just in case.
Thanks again
